providing the best products and services to our customers.Routing and Folding: This technique involves creating a V-shaped or rectangular groove on the back of the panel and then bending it along the groove. This allows for the creation of various shapes and angles.

Jointing: Alucobond panels can be joined using various methods, including:

  • Riveting:Rivets can be used to fasten panels together, ensuring a strong and durable connection.
  • Screwing:Screws can also be used for joining, with careful attention to the screw type and pilot holes.
  • Bonding:Adhesives can be used to bond panels together, providing a seamless and waterproof joint.

Alucobond cutting.

Cutting: Alucobond can be cut using various methods, including:

  • Vertical panel saws: These are commonly used for cutting large panels and offer good precision.
  • Circular saws: Carbide-tipped saw blades are recommended for clean cuts, and the cutting speed should be reduced by 50%.
  • Jigsaws: Jigsaws can be used for more intricate cuts.providing expert advice and guidance.

Bending: Alucobond can be cold-formed using a pyramid roller, press brake, or over a clamped pipe (for thinner panels). Care should be taken to protect the surface finish during bending. Punching: Conventional sheet metal punching machines can be used to punch holes in Alucobond panels. Sharp tools and a minimal cutting gap are recommended for clean cuts.

Other Processing Methods:

  • Panel Edgings:Various methods can be used to finish the edges of Alucobond panels, such as applying edge trims or sealing the edges.
  • Lacquering:The surface of Alucobond can be lacquered or coated for added protection or aesthetic purposes.
  • Stud Welding:This technique is used for attaching studs to the panel surfac

  • Stud Welding:This technique is used for attaching studs to the panel surface, often for mounting applications.

Important Considerations:

  • Protective Film:Alucobond panels often come with a protective film to prevent scratches and damage during processing. This film should be removed as soon as possible after installation and should not be exposed to extreme temperatures or prolonged sunlight, as it may become difficult to remove.
  • Surface Protection:Care should be taken to avoid scratching or damaging the surface of Alucobond panels during processing. Using appropriate tools and techniques, and avoiding harsh chemicals, is essential.
  • Recycling:Alucobond panels are fully recyclable, and the aluminum components can be returned to the material cycle for reuse.
