New Globonder - Claudio Schreier

Claudio is a Brazilian, fluent in English and Spanish and conversant in Hebrew. He is currently the Director of Schreier Participacoes Ltda, a family business focused on business acquisitions and development specialized in the manufacturing industry.

Schreier Partners has 3 operational companies in its portfolio. Two of them are thermoplastic injection companies located in Sao Paulo and Manaus. The third one is a flooring manufacturing company with American and Norwegian technology that was built from the ground up. Besides the manufacturing, this company also distributes in Brazil flooring products from Armstrong and Bolon.

Claudio developed his entrepreneurial and leadership skills working in many institutions. He was an account manager for mid-market corporations at UNIBANCO, and a marketing and sales consultant for small business. He was the founder and developer of Indoor Media Ltd, a start-up company focused on the advertising inside office-building elevators. He also worked as a senior consultant at A.T. Kearney, participating and leading projects in banking, telecommunications, automotive and consumer-product industries. He has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Escola Politecnica – University of Sao Paulo, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Claudio co-authored the paper “The Venture Capital and Private Equity Industry in Brazil” published at The Journal of Private Equity, fall 2001.

Claudio is married and has two daughters. Claudio enjoys watching and practicing sports, especially basketball and soccer.
